By booking an appointment with PearlStone.Art, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
PearlStone.Art operates from a private studio in Carlisle and visits are by appointment only.
There is currently no deposit required to book an appointment.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give at least 24 hours' notice whenever possible.
I understand that plans can change. If you are unable to attend, please contact me as soon as possible so your appointment can be offered to someone else.
Repeated missed appointments or late cancellations may result in PearlStone.Art declining future bookings.
Please arrive on time for your appointment.
If you are significantly late, your appointment may need to be shortened or rescheduled so that it does not affect the next client.
You will have the opportunity to view the available chains, charms and connectors before your jewellery is fitted.
The final price will always be confirmed before the chain is cut and welded.
Please check that you are happy with your chosen chain, fit, positioning and any charms or connectors before the piece is permanently welded.
Every piece of permanent jewellery is individually selected, measured and cut specifically to fit you.
Once the chain has been cut to your measurements and permanently fitted, it is a personalised piece of jewellery.
For this reason, once the jewellery has been fitted and welded, it cannot be returned or refunded simply because you have changed your mind.
This does not affect your statutory rights if the jewellery is faulty or the service has not been provided with reasonable care and skill.
Permanent jewellery is designed for everyday wear, but it is still delicate jewellery.
Chains can stretch, break or become damaged if they are caught, pulled or subjected to excessive force.
Permanent jewellery is intentionally not designed to be unbreakable.
PearlStone.Art cannot accept responsibility for jewellery that is lost or damaged as a result of accidental pulling, catching, inappropriate use or normal wear and tear.
If your jewellery breaks, please keep the chain and contact PearlStone.Art.
Where possible, I will inspect the piece and determine whether it can safely be re-welded.
If the chain itself is stretched, damaged or broken, a repair or replacement may be required and an additional charge may apply. Any charge will be discussed with you before work is carried out.
Lost jewellery cannot be replaced free of charge.
Your statutory rights in relation to faulty goods or services are not affected.
Permanent jewellery can be removed whenever necessary.
If you need to remove your jewellery for an operation, MRI, medical procedure or another necessary reason, carefully cut the small welded jump ring and keep the original chain.
Bring the chain back to PearlStone.Art and, provided it is in suitable condition to be safely re-fitted, I will re-weld it free of charge.
Always follow the advice and instructions of your healthcare provider regarding jewellery and medical procedures.
You are responsible for following the aftercare advice provided by PearlStone.Art.
Permanent jewellery can be worn as part of everyday life, including while showering and exercising.
After swimming in chlorinated or salt water, rinse the jewellery with fresh water and gently dry it.
Avoid unnecessary contact with harsh chemicals and minimise direct contact with perfume, fake tan, lotions and cleaning products.
Clients under the age of 17 must be accompanied by a parent or grandparent.
The accompanying parent or grandparent must give consent before permanent jewellery is fitted.
PearlStone.Art reserves the right to refuse to fit permanent jewellery if I believe it would be inappropriate or unsafe to proceed.
The welding process is designed to connect the jewellery without the welding equipment touching the skin.
Clients must follow any safety instructions provided during their appointment.
Please tell me before fitting if there is anything relevant that may affect your ability to safely receive or wear permanent jewellery.
PearlStone.Art reserves the right to refuse or stop a fitting where there is a reasonable safety concern.
Current prices are displayed on the PearlStone.Art website.
Prices vary according to the type of jewellery, material and chain selected.
Bracelets, anklets and necklaces include one charm or connector. Additional charms and connectors are £10 each.
Your final price will be confirmed before your jewellery is cut and fitted.
From time to time, I may ask whether I can photograph or film your finished jewellery for PearlStone.Art's website or social media.
Your permission will always be requested first.
You are under no obligation to agree and declining photography will not affect your appointment or service.
PearlStone.Art will provide its services with reasonable care and skill and jewellery will be as described and of satisfactory quality as required by applicable UK consumer law.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude or restrict any rights you have under applicable consumer law.
PearlStone.Art may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.
The Terms & Conditions applicable to your appointment will be those made available to you at the time of your booking.
