Everything you might want to know before your visit - from how it's fitted to how to look after it afterwards.
Permanent jewellery is a custom-fitted chain that is gently welded around your wrist, ankle, neck or finger without a traditional clasp. It's designed to stay with you for as long as you choose to wear it.
Not at all. The welding process is quick and painless. The welder connects a tiny link in the chain and does not touch your skin.
I offer a curated selection of Sterling Silver and Gold Filled chains, as well as selected premium Tennis Chains.

There is no fixed lifespan. Permanent jewellery is designed for everyday wear, but it is still a delicate piece of jewellery. It can stretch, break or become damaged if it is pulled or caught. How long it lasts will depend on the chain you choose, your lifestyle and how you care for it.
Yes. Your permanent jewellery is designed to become part of your everyday life, so you can shower while wearing it.
Yes. You can exercise and swim while wearing your jewellery. After swimming, particularly in chlorinated or salt water, I recommend rinsing your jewellery with fresh water and gently drying it. Avoid direct contact with harsh chemicals and cleaning products.
Yes, but try to avoid applying perfume, fake tan, lotions and other products directly onto your jewellery. Product build-up can affect its appearance over time.
Generally, fine jewellery can be worn through airport security. However, security requirements can vary, so always follow the instructions of airport and security staff.
Treat it as you would any piece of fine jewellery. Avoid pulling or catching the chain and minimise direct contact with harsh chemicals. If it needs a little clean, use a soft cloth and gentle jewellery cleaning products suitable for the material. If you're ever unsure about your jewellery, simply get in touch with me.
See the full Aftercare guide for more detail.
Yes. "Permanent" doesn't mean irreversible. If you need to remove your jewellery, carefully cut the small welded jump ring with scissors or suitable cutters and keep the chain safe.
Always follow the instructions given by your healthcare provider. If you are asked to remove your jewellery, carefully cut it at the welded jump ring and keep the chain. Bring it back to me afterwards and I'll re-weld it for you free of charge, provided the original chain is suitable for re-welding.
Keep the chain and contact me. If the jewellery can safely be re-welded, I'll be happy to take a look at it. If the chain itself has been damaged, stretched or broken, a repair or replacement may be required and an additional charge may apply.
Unfortunately, lost jewellery cannot be replaced free of charge. Permanent jewellery is designed for everyday wear, but it is deliberately delicate enough to break if it becomes heavily caught or pulled.
Each piece of permanent jewellery is individually selected, measured, cut and fitted specifically for you, making it a personalised piece. Once your jewellery has been fitted and welded, it cannot be returned simply because you have changed your mind. This does not affect your statutory rights if the jewellery or service is faulty.
